Type of Photographs - Cabinet Cards (mounted sepia-tone albumen silver prints)

Photographer - Herman Buchholz (born in 1839, Berlin, Germany, emigrated to the United States, and settled in Massachusetts). Buchholz possibly also made the devil costumes and painted backdrop in the photographs, for he had a “costumer and decorator” business later in life

Size - 6.25 x 4.25 inches (each)

Date - c. 1880

Condition - Very Good with excellent tonal value & no fading, some very subtle wear to edges of cards with small pin holes not affecting the photographs
