Through this archive of automatic writings and drawings, a narrative unfolds of a lonely woman named Vera that communicated with a handful of spirits, primarily Akvan, which is New Persian for a Aka Manah, the Zoroastrian daeva, meaning Evil Mind or Evil Intention. However, rather than malevolent, Vera’s spirit guides send their love and often wish her goodnight. This cryptic body of work is visually remarkably similar to the early mediumistic work of Hilma af Klint, as seen in the publication- Catalogue Raisonné Volume I ~ Spiritualistic Drawings 1896–1905.
